Traffic Signalization Project at Camino Verde/Shaw Blvd/West Capitol Drive Intersection, Pasig City (2021)

By October 22, 2021 Projects

PWI was engaged by Ortigas & Company Ltd Partnership (OCLP) to design and build the Camino Verde/Shaw Blvd/West Capitol Drive Intersection in Pasig City from April to September 2021. It has been converted into a four-legged signalized intersection and the operation turned over to the Pasig City TPMO last September 15, 2021.  With the new traffic signalized system implemented there (which includes bike lanes/boxes, pedestrian safety and PWD-friendly islands, speed tables, direct access to Capitol Commons from West Capitol Drive), motorists, pedestrians, and cyclists have gained quicker access to roads, cutting their travel time to/from their destination, and improved visibility at the intersection. Mayor Vico Sotto of Pasig City personally conducted a walk-through to observe the traffic flow at the intersection on September 17, 2021.
